Jan 2010 Phoenix attends PACIFIC 2010 and launches CommBox to the Australasian market. PACIFIC 2010 held from the 27th to the 29th of January played host to a number of companies showcasing their products and services to commercial maritime and naval defence industries world wide. Phoenix harnessed this opportunity to introduce their newest product, the CommBox, a total solution for ship-to-shore data communication. Feb 2009 Phoenix is successful on Commonwealth tender. The Department of Defence (DoD) and Defence Material Organisation (DMO) have appointed Phoenix to its Management Consultancy Standing Offer Panel. This agreement will enable Phoenix to provide management consultancy services to the DoD and DMO for the next three years with possible yearly extensions.

Feb 2009 Phoenix installs new testing equipment. Phoenix has expanded our testing capabilities by the installation of towed array winching test machine and a universal tensile testing machine. The winch rig will allow Phoenix to develop its range of towed array equipment and the universal testing machine will allow for the testing of materials and assemblies under laboratory conditions.

Jan 2009 Phoenix receives following orders from ION Geophysical for the delivery of additional PVIM's.

Dec 2008 Phoenix delivers PVIM's under the first order from ION Geophysical. The successful trial of the PVIM on the Furgo vessel has resulted in the first production order of PVIM's being delivered to ION Geophysical for their new DigiStreamer Marine Seismic system.

Nov 2008 PVIM successfully sea trialed in the Gulf of Mexico by ION Geophysical and Furgo Geoteam. Following the development of the PVIM product under the Commercial Ready grant, the PVIM was deployed from the Furgo vessel the Geo Artic in the Gulf of Mexico. The PVIM provides the seismic industry with a new technology which is free from oil and can be recovered directly on to the exploration vessel storage reels. These advances in technology greatly improve the efficiency of streamer recovery and reduce the HSE risks to the crew and the environment.

Aug 2008 Phoenix Engineering has received certification to ISO 9001:2000 for Project Management, Systems, Software and Hardware Engineering and Test and Validation. The certification was issued by the Bureau Veritas and followed year of systems and procedure development by Phoenix Staff

Aug 2008 Phoenix moves to new facility. Phoenix has moved to a new location in Castle Hill. The new facility has allowed Phoenix to expand our services and capabilities. The facility now offers over 500 sq m of office, lab and assembly areas.

July 2008 Phoenix Engineering appointed as the ION Geophysical Inc Australia agent for seismic exploration equipment. Phoenix has a long working relationship with ION, with Phoenix having supplied engineering support to ION and this new agency agreement allows Phoenix to offer direct local support to the users of ION equipment in Australia.

June 2008 Phoenix Engineering appointed as a qualified management consultant for the Commonwealths "Enterprise Connect" scheme.

Feb 2008 Phoenix Engineering awarded Commercial Ready Grant for development of the Phoenix patented Vibration Isolation Module (PVIM) for towed array systems. The grant will allow Phoenix to finalise the development of this new technology and the technology. The product has applications in the Seismic exploration and Defence industries.
